# How should I enter an investor's details if they are investing from a trust?

You can enter the investor's first and last name and when they set up their profile, they'll enter the details of the trust as the investing entity. The first and last name you use in the cap table is for your personal organization, but is also how we address the investor when we send them the email invite. As they create their account, they also enter their preferred name.
