# How do I add Payment Instructions to Sydecar?

## Adding your payment instructions in Sydecar is quick, and most importantly, secure.

First, log in to the Sydecar application (*link:* [***Sydecar Login Page***](http://app.sydecar.io/login)) using the email registered with your Sydecar account.

(1) Then, click into the ***Profiles*** page and (2) click on the Profile that is being refunded or is receiving a distribution payment.![Payments 1](https://help.sydecar.io/hs-fs/hubfs/Payments%201.png?width=670&height=207&name=Payments%201.png)

(3) Once on the Profile, choose the *Bank account* tab, and click on (4) *Add bank account.*

From there, you can enter your payment details by following the instructions on screen.

(4) US-based Investors will have the option to select ACH or Wire for their payment. We generally recommend ACH payments for those investors where possible.

*NOTE: Investors based outside the US will only be able to provide wire instructions.*  

(5) Click on *Save* once you are done.

NOTE: If you choose *Wire* as the payment type and your bank uses *For Further Credit to (FFC)* information, you can add that in the last field. Many large brokerage institutions (e.g. Morgan Stanley, Fidelity, Charles Schwab) have payment structures like this.

If you are waiting on a pending payment from Sydecar, please notify [operations@sydecar.io](mailto:operations@sydecar.io) that you've added your details so we can complete the payment.
