      Why did I receive K-1s for certain states?

      In some cases, Sydecar may be obligated to file state tax returns in addition to the Partnership Tax Return because:

      • Certain states require tax returns to be prepared when there are LPs who are residents of those states.

      • Our product automatically generates state K-1s for all LPs, regardless of residency, but these can be ignored if you are not a resident of those states.
